Deconstructed Flags
This series of mono prints is a direct response to our political situation where belligerent tweets, fake news, misinformation and uniformed statements are challenging freedom of speech, religion and the press. Red, white and blue, these mixed-media images contain reprinted pages of the New York Times, obscured by collage and painted elements of the United States flag which sweep across the pages.
